What that means

Some links on this site are advertising. If you click one and later sign up for or purchase a service, we may be paid a commission by the advertiser or by the network that manages their program. How advertising is marked

Advertising units carry a visible label, and every sponsored link is tagged so that search engines treat it as advertising rather than as an editorial recommendation. Editorial citations, which link to government agencies, courts, universities, and nonprofit organizations, are not sponsored and earn us nothing.

What advertising does not affect

• Directory listings are compiled from public map data. No business pays to be listed, and none can pay to be removed.
• Listing order is not for sale.
• Guides and calculators are written independently, and advertisers get no review or approval of them.

Why you should still verify everything

An advertisement is not a recommendation, and it is not a substitute for checking a provider yourself.
